Coal Creek Canyon Golden CO
Coal Creek Canyon is a mountain community outside of Golden Colorado. This community is located approximately 20-30 minutes from downtown Golden, depending on your location. The advantage of this area is the opportunity to live the mountain lifestyle, yet still be close to the amenities of the city. Coal Creek is located up highway 72 about 12 miles from Highway 93 about half way between Golden and Boulder. Students who live in this community attend Coal Creek Elementary School, Coal Creek Middle School, and Ralston Valley High school, all in the Jefferson County School District

In this mountain community, you will find everything from small mountain cabins, to million dollar mountain homes. Lot sizes range from .2 acres up to 35 acres on average depending on the location. Many of these properties have mountain views, or even city views from certain areas. Wildlife is abundant in this area. Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a short drive up Twin Spruce Road. Shopping is available in Golden and Arvada, but future plans have a grocery store and shopping being built at the intersection of highway 72 and 93 in future years.
